Action Research Report
K.b joshi kanya vidhalaya standard 8th a porbander.

post test :- The students of 8th a standard, k.b joshi kanya vidhalaya were asked to read a passage from there teક્ષ્t book. i found many difficulties which they faced while reading like- problems with pronunciations, lack of fluency, slow reading and they do not follow the punctuations.

Hypothesis:- if i give them  a model reading with proper prounciation and intonation , it may help them to improve their reading skill.

Remedial teaching:- My action research focused of 10  students out of 60 students, they helped me to realise their difficulty to read the teક્ષ્t in a target language with correct prounciation and speed. by demostrating a model reading along with helping them to register the meaning of the teક્ષ્t ,the students got an idea about the way in which the teક્ષ્t had to be read. A number of reading practices also were gives in order to improve their fluency.

post test:- The child imitated the way of reading and i monitored only little difference in them. There was a little improvement in their reading.
Outcome:- The outcome we have observed development  up to some eક્ષ્tent.
  problem identified:- The problem i identified from their reading during their pre-test was that- problems with prounciations, lack of fluency, slow reading and they do not follow the punctuations.
conclusion:- after the post test the students were provided with a model reading which helped them read the similiar teક્ષ્t with more clear audible and proper intonation and speed. The students also got an idea on how to pronounce the difficult words. This helped students to improve and read with more effectively.
